Very personable employees! Thanks, Chris for sharing great apple orchard life stories!
Curtis Apple Orchard is great family-owned business. If you want to celebrate Fall, this is the place to come. They have great apple cider donuts and fritters, apple cider, pies, apples (peaches in late summer), and they serve great food, especially on weekends. You can pick your own pumpkins and apples, which can be pricey, but you will have a great time. If you don’t want to pick your own, there are plenty of pumpkins, apples and gourds to pick from. Really nice place to have a vacation.
Loads of fun for the family. All of the activities are free for ages 2 and under. Live music and good food.
One of the best ciders in the Midwest; we try to get some every year. We got here on a beautiful fall day this time – ideal for photos on top of everything else. We love the shop. Stock up on apple varieties we love, nab a syrup or two, small bag of rocks (every year), apple donuts, and fudge (whether or not we need it), apple slushies when we need a drink, clever wall decor to crack us up, jams, honeys… The goats and chickens are always fun. … Glad to have a good orchard so close to us.
This is our 2nd year coming here. We absolutely love it! It’s definitely a great value. The kids always have a blast while we are here and we enjoy the gift shop as well. Definitely worth the trip ?
Curtis Orchard is filled with plenty of activities for young and old! Every time we go we can’t leave without getting some of there delicious Apple Cider and donuts! Don’t forget to bring quarters so you can feed the goats and chickens! My boys love being able to ride the ponies and slide down the big slides, and of course it’s not tradition without taking the tractor wagon ride through the orchard then walking out into the patch to find the biggest pumpkin!
We went here for my daughter’s school field trip and it was wonderful. We watched a very educational video on bees and how their apple cider was made and my daughter was completely amazed!
It was a blast with all the food, activities and value!!
I bought a bag of apples and two jars of Curtis Orchards delicious Praline Pecan Honey Butter. Out of this world!
